Our Mission:
Since 1993, the Tucson Comic News has brought the work of some of the world's finest cartoonists to Tucson audiences, seeking both to entertain and enlighten. In keeping with the dictum Think globally, act locally, we have donated ads and sold space at or below cost to a variety of local organizations, including Arizona Greyhound Rescue, Pima County Bike Week, the Tucson Peace Center, Human Rights Coalition of Arizona, Veterans for Peace, Jobs with Justice, Tucson Vegetarian Resource Group, aka Theatre, Access Tucson Cable TV, and the Downtown Arts and Retail Alliance. Our editorial policies recognize the links between economic and environmental injustice, hence our motto, Dedicated to saving the planet from the power-addicted greedheads before it's too late. Are you with us on this?
