Is A Solution-Alternative to Video Games encompasses our full training
program. Each one-hour tape focuses on one of the four key concepts presented in
our program. All of the discussions, role-plays and specific instructions on the
activities have been incorporated into this series.
Tape # 1 covers the philosophy and the two essential rules
of our program and demonstrates five useful activities.
Tape # 2 discusses Creative Play and has five different
activities.
Tape # 3 focuses on Compassionate components of play
facilitating the building of compassion and community. Additionally, five more
games are introduced.
Tape #4 concludes the series with a presentation on Soft
Aggression concepts and the final five activities.
The complete series can be used for faculty training, as an ongoing
refresher, or for new faculty that were not in attendance for your original
training with Creative Spirit staff. These video games are so much fun that many
teachers show the videos to their students. It's great modeling and fun to see
adults playing the games in a positive manner. The tapes can also be shown to
parents or at other organized school events.
