PROFILE OF OSAMA BIN LADEN
Translation of script: Your brother in Islam. Usama Bin Mohammed Bin Laden
This is a dynamic, creative and powerful signature. Bin Laden's
magnetic appeal and ability to sway others to his abstract way of thinking is
unquestionable. His signature is twisted and bizarre indicating that he is
not only inventive but follows his own moral code that is not always the
standard of society.
There is a narcissistic quality in the signature. It is extremely large
(compared to the text) and self-involved. This is not the personality of a
martyr willing to die for a cause. Rather he possesses an obsessive need
for attention. He calls attention to himself by questioning the accepted
standard and rebelling against conformity. However, though rebellious in
his ideas, he has a disciplined personality carrying through on his ideas with
thoroughness and tenacity.
His signature reveals a serious internal conflict. The signature can
literally be cut in half to reveal the two sides of Bin Laden personality.
Arabic is written from right to left, therefore his signature starts on the
right. He draws a simplified, square like structure with a long horizontal
stroke (roof) on top. He is self protective and private. He
possesses a disciplined intellect that is both constructive and mechanically
inclined. He can be resourceful and streamlined in his thinking expressing
himself clearly and logically. He has the ability to execute his plans
with patience, commonsense and practicality. He is excellent at planning
and execution. When it suits him, he can present himself with a calm,
poised demeanor; even in the face of adversity or in stressful
conditions.
Those who associate with him are probably unaware of the selfish, tortured
individual that lurks just beneath the surface. The second half of his
signature is comprised of abstract forms, protective circles and an entangled
web. He is an extremely intelligent individual with a devious, calculating
mind. His creative mind can easily think in abstract terms and borders on
genius. He understands and utilizes his ability to acquire mastery over
others to influence them. His internal conflicts are complicated and although
his anger and violence is outwardly noticeable by his actions it is really
representative of the hate, fear and destruction within him and towards his
father. There is so much internalized anger and intensity in his writing,
it seems inevitable that one day he will ultimately destroy himself; while taking others with him.

PROFILE OF MARWAN AL-SHEHHI
Terrorist on board United Airlines Flight 175
Crashed into World Trade Center & South Tower at 9:05 a.m.
Handwriting from hotel registration card in Hollywood, Florida where Al-Shehhi
was staying two weeks prior to the September 11 attacks.
One of the most revealing characteristics in Al-Shehhiâ's handwriting is
the presence of the "manic d" which appear in the words "Sheridan"
and "Hollywood." They are noticeably right slanted and out of
place within the script. This formation is indicative of a person who is
prone to reactive, hostile behavior and violence.
Intellectually, Al-Shehhi appears to be a streamlined thinker. He shows
aptitude in technical skills. Philosophically, he can be narrow-minded and
rigid. While possessing an analytical mind, he lacks flexibility in
thinking and can be overly rigid in his beliefs, particularly in the
religious/spiritual area. His variable slant can be an indication of
someone who is highly reactive and lacking in emotional discipline.
Needing equilibrium, he would be attracted to others or causes that would place
him in a disciplined environment. Neglecting the development of his own
will, choosing to view the world in overly simplistic terms, and emotional
impetuosity makes him susceptible to charismatic, controlling personalities.
It is just this sort of combination that power-hungry types such as Bin
Laden prey upon.
